DVI-D
The most common digital-video cable for HDTV is DVI-D. (DVI stands for digital video interconnect, and the extra D means it’s for digital TV.)
If you’re using DVI-D connections, watch out for two problems:
Not all DVI connectors work with HDTV. Make sure you have DVI-D cables if you use DVI-D in your HDTV system.
I have a toshiba satellite laptop and trying to connect it to my LCD HDTV, i got the VGA to DVI to HDMI cable adapter and plugged that into my tv but it wont come up on the tv.
HBMI to HDMI cable. Have samsung 780 LCD TV – LE19R8. When selecting the HDMI button on remote and selecting games mode, states mode not supported. How do you change the mode on either the TV or the x-box to make them compatible?
