I am having a problem with my Sony Hdtv(XBR). The problem is that the colors are very mix up, and I cannot fix it. How are they suposed to be set up?

this is a common problem with the new television they way they are set out of the box is at dynamic of vivid setting to get you attacted to them and buy them… othere than that the manufacter can care less… basically your tv is working at the hardest setting possible… yes you can take ur remote control and play with the colors and do some changing yourself but only to a certain degree untill you distort your picture…
so if you watchin espn and you get the picture u wanted aafter playin in the setting when you change the channel now the colors are screwed up on the nxt channel…
the only true way of fixing the colors to have the television working the way its should be and getting things all perfect would be to have the television professionally calibrated. where they come out an hook up very expensive equipment to the television and go internally to the settings to adjust everything.. Calibrating the television properly takes 2 hours to do and you have to be certified by the IMAGE SCIENCE FOUNDATION…
