Its a light mark but when I play games such as Gears of War its really noticeable due to the lighting of the game. Anyway to solve this?

Not really, ONLY if you have a Screen Wiper can you speed up the process of removing burned in images…
Even on LCDs they will take MONTHS to make them disappear…
