Hooking Up A Mac Mini To A Sony Hdtv?

Hi, I’m wondering how to hook up a mac mini to a sony full hdtv to get full 1080p resolution that fills the whole screen, with sound.
I know you can get a dvi to hdmi cable, but how would the sound work?

you can use a DVI to HDMI cable and that will give you 720p or 1080i for the picture. DVI cables will not handle HD sound (or any sound at all) so you will have to use a headphone (3.5mm) to rca (red and white composite cables) to either go directly into your surround sound receiver or back of the tv.
    hope this helps
