I switched and I’m glad
Short story version: Did tons of research, talking to younger techier folks, visiting stores. reading reviews by owners, checking out bells and whistles on both less and more expensive t.v.’s–Sony, Sharp and Samsung were the top contenders once I decided on LCD. Actually decided to get the LN46B650. Didn’t like the touch of red. Had concern about reflection. Just as I was ready to buy, the LN46B750–touch of charcoal instead of red; matte screen, option for 240hz, great refresh rate. Coupon for $300 from Amazon. Easy to set up. Didn’t need to tweak the settings. Great picture, even from angles, great blacks and whites. Crisp picture. Very happy with it, and with Amazon.

Excellent LCD, great price
I originally bought this set at Sears, then I came home and checked Amazon’s price. Huge difference. I cancelled my order with Sears and ordered it from Amazon. The set works great. I network it with my pc wirelessly over the home network and grab any media files I want. The widgets will be great once they get the important ones on there. I am a little disappointed on how long it is taking to get netflix, blockbuster and some others that they say are coming soon.

But, I still love it. I am actually waiting today for the cable company to get me my hd box. It will certainly make a huge difference. I’m happy….my wife, not so much.

Alot of set for the price!
We received our set over two weeks ago, and remain as excited as if it just arrived. What great color and what a sharp picture. We have a 37″ Sony HDTV in our smaller living room, and this picture is even better; and we like our Sony a lot. It was an easy set to self install, and is an easy set to operate. Yet, it has the features and options

to expand into a home theater with all the bells and whistles. The included swivel stand comes in handy, since the seating in our family room isn’t isolated in one primary location. It certainly is a high value set at today’s prices, and one you won’t regret owning. Go for it!

Excellent picture, does not disappoint
Bought this TV last weekend, so have had it for 1 week now, and must say that is nearly perfect. The picture quality of HD broadcasts (over TimeWarner cable) is very good, and

standard broadcasts are not bad at all (better than expected). The audio is quite good as well, even though I will eventually upgrade to a home theatre system, but for now, it is more than acceptable.

I did not alter any of the pre-configured settings for the picture (I selected ‘Home’ as the pre-configuration setting off of the Bravia initial setup)

and have no reason to tweak this at all, despite having a rather bright living room. Recommend this TV to anyone and everyone!

Exceeded our expectations
This is a very good product. We did a lot of research before we bought this TV. We paid a few hundred dollars more for 240 Hz even though most reviews say its not worth it. Its worth it. We have a 52″ Samsung 120 Hz and we have shadowing; not so with this Sony. Two other things we like.

The user interface is surprisingly simple to use with a lot of connections and interfaces that are automatically done by the TV. At first it seems complicated and overwhelming, but after you work with it you see how well designed it is.

The other thing we were surprised at was the quality of the sound from the TV speakers. We bought a Sony sound bar for this TV, but its not that much better than the TV speakers. All in all we are very pleased with this product.

it’s just beautifulllllllll
i gotta say right off tha bat i’m a huge sony fan when it comes to home entertainment…. so i was really hoping this tv wasn’t gonna disappoint me. well it didn’t. i love this tv so far adn i have no real issues except need to buy a sony usb stik to update it, it doesn’t accept anything else but sony does tell u that. the pitcure’s sharp and nice, it handles black well, the inputs are pure love.. i finally have inputs to put all my stuff in and knowing that i can get bravia link add-ons if i need more is quite comforting… the remote sucks, i’ll say that much. ended up using the remote for my sony dream system instead… woulda really loved having a nicer remote com w/ the tv that woulda controlled the dream system instead of vice versa… ahh, no matter, i’ll just get a sexier remote. i think that about sums it up. did i mention i love the tv?
